01
General
Which areas do you cover?+
We're based on Albion Road in Handsworth, Birmingham, and work across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands — including Handsworth, Lozells, Aston, Perry Barr, Edgbaston and Smethwick. If you're slightly further out, get in touch anyway; we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
How does one phone number cover three companies?+
When you call 0800 222 9797, our team takes the details and puts you through to — or arranges a call back from — the right company in the group. You never have to guess which one you need.
How quickly will you respond to my enquiry?+
We aim to respond to every enquiry within one working day. For urgent repairs, tell us it's urgent when you call and we'll prioritise it.
Are you open at weekends?+
Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, and Saturday 9am to 1pm. Outside those hours, leave a message or send an enquiry and we'll come back to you the next working day.
02
Property maintenance
What kinds of jobs do you take on?+
Everything property related — electrical work, gas and heating, plumbing, remedial works, gardening, painting and decorating, roofing, flooring and general repairs. We handle single jobs, emergency repairs, void turnarounds and ongoing maintenance contracts.
Do you charge for quotes?+
No — quotes and assessments are free. You'll receive a clear, itemised quote before any work starts, with no hidden extras.
Do you work with landlords and housing providers?+
Yes. We provide safety certificates (gas, electrical), void works, planned maintenance programmes and reactive repairs for landlords, housing providers and businesses across the region.
Can I book regular maintenance rather than one-off jobs?+
Yes. We offer tailored maintenance contracts for portfolios and commercial premises — agreed response times, scheduled visits and one point of contact.
03
Care services
Is INT Care Solutions regulated?+
Yes. INT Care Solutions is registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
How do I start care for myself or a relative?+
Call us for a free, no-obligation conversation. If we look like a good fit, a care manager visits to carry out a proper assessment, then a written care plan is agreed with you and your family before care begins.
How is care paid for?+
Care can be self-funded, funded by Birmingham City Council following a needs assessment, or in some cases fully funded by the NHS (Continuing Healthcare). We'll talk you through the options honestly.
Will I have the same carers each visit?+
We match carers carefully and work hard to keep the same faces, because trust and familiarity matter enormously in good care.
Do you provide care for people with complex needs?+
Yes — including complex care for significant health needs and specialist support for people living with cancer, alongside domiciliary, respite, palliative and companionship care.
04
Housing
How do I apply for social or supported accommodation?+
Many placements come through local authority or support agency referrals, but you can also contact us directly to discuss your situation and what might be available.
I'm a landlord — can Anchor Housing manage my property?+
Yes. We offer let-only and fully managed services for residential and commercial property, backed by our own in-house maintenance team.
Do you handle commercial property?+
Yes — we let, manage and sell commercial premises including shops, offices and units, as well as residential sales and lettings.
What makes Anchor Housing different from a letting agent?+
We're part of a group that includes its own maintenance team and a CQC regulated care company, so our homes are kept well and residents can be supported — not just housed.
